Cook Island Language week
Room 29 went on a outing to Te Oro in Glen Innes. We made some flower head bands to celebrate Cook Island culture and found out that they wear them to look good and to smell pretty. We also saw people singing and we were dancing along with them. It was awesome and when we got back to Glendowie School, we took some more photos of us wearing our head bands.

Give-it-a-go-day at Sommerville!
What a fun day we had at Sommerville doing sport! We got to try a whole range of activities and some of our favourites were the egg and spoon race, rugby, bocce, snag golf and javelin. It was lots of fun and we really enjoyed seeing some of our friends from the other classes!

Cruise the Bays
Room 29 went on a color run at mission bay. We walked a very long way and collected stickers as we walked. We got covered in powered paint when we finished. We were covered in lots of different colours and it was a lot of fun throwing the paint everywhere! We had a great lunch of rolls and a brownie then we returned to school.
