First we wrote our letters to Santa Claus. Next we got an envelope from the office and we put the letters in the envelope. We bought stamps and put them on our envelopes. Later we walked down the hill to put the envelopes in the post box. Lastly we went to the playground as a treat and played.
Room 29 went to the Tika Cafe at Sommerville. It was nice because they wrote out "WELCOME 2 Glendowie" on the chalkboard. We got a menu and placed an order for juices and cupcakes. The juice was NOT pulpy and the cupcake was vanilla. Everyone enjoyed it and it only cost $2.
Room 29 went to the Special Olympic's Cross Country at Rose Hill Special School in Papakua.
We had a fantastic day, all of us getting placings. Our day finished at lunch because it rained and we came back to school, We were all exhausted but had lots of fun and enjoyed catching up with our friends from Stonefields.
