First we wrote our letters to Santa Claus.
Next we got an envelope from the office and we put the letters in the envelope. We bought stamps and put them on our envelopes.
Later we walked down the hill to put the envelopes in the post box. Lastly we went to the playground as a treat and played.
Room 29 went to the Tika Cafe at Sommerville. It was nice because they wrote out "WELCOME 2 Glendowie" on the chalkboard. We got a menu and placed an order for juices and cupcakes. The juice was NOT pulpy and the cupcake was vanilla. Everyone enjoyed it and it only cost $2.
Room 29 went to the Special Olympic's Cross Country at Rose Hill Special School in Papakua.
We had a fantastic day, all of us getting placings. Our day finished at lunch because it rained and we came back to school, We were all exhausted but had lots of fun and enjoyed catching up with our friends from Stonefields.
Room 29 went to a Interact Festival and they did fun activities. First of all they played chimes with a stick. Then they made a book out of stickers and cardboard. Later they went to see a drum show. After the show they had their faces painted. Some kids got their face painted as a tiger, others got their face painted as a spider man. We all thought the festival was fantastic.
We did cross country and James came first in the class. Tyler came second and Ben came third in cross country. George and Isla also came first in their races. It was exhausting and hard to run really fast but everyone enjoyed it. Its about getting fit and strong and you have to do your best at it and use your legs to run. To be the best you can stop if you want or can just keep going.
